We are located at the Gateway to the Chequamegon National Forest with 842,000 acres of Wilderness and 496 lakes for fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, snowmobiling and nature watching.

Hayward is the Golf Capital of Wisconsin. There are 13 golf courses nearby.

There are many fine restaurants in the area to enjoy.

SPIDER LAKE MOTEL is closet motel to the Amercian Birkebeiner Ski Trail (with 2 lighted night trails)- Trailhead access at County Rd "OO" (10min. drive).
